Dear Eagles,
You may have recently received an e-mail from Andy Schlafly about the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of Eagle Forum on September 30, 2018.
Unfortunately, Andy’s e-mail refuses to let the facts get in the way of the mudslinging. Where Phyllis Schlafly armed herself with the facts, Andy continues to run from them. Three examples from his latest diatribe are worth specific mention:
- Andy is not a board member of Eagle Forum. After it was discovered that Andy was integral to a plot to destroy Eagle Forum, he was removed as a director of Eagle Forum. Nor is Andy a member of Eagle Forum. Eagle Forum finds no record of his ever having paid dues. Eagle Forum has rejected and returned the recent membership dues he submitted in secret.
- Apart from the members of the Board of Directors who are themselves, attorneys, no counsel attended the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of Eagle Forum on September 30, 2018. Andy is simply wrong about this.
- While misstating the facts, Andy’s e-mail suggests that associating with a law firm that also worked for liberal organizations, like Planned Parenthood, is something that “would never have [been] allowed” by Phyllis Schlafly. However, Phyllis Schlafly, Andy, and John have all been represented by Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal, P.C.,whose “claim to fame” is representing Planned Parenthood in Webster v. Reproductive Health Services. An email from May of 2016 directly informs Ed Martin of the Paul, Camazine & Blumenthal representation of Planned Parenthood. It is unclear whether Andy is ignorant of this fact or else refuses to live up to the standard he preaches.
Andy’s conduct continues to vindicate the Board of Directors’ decision, in January of 2017, to promptly remove him from any and all involvement with Eagle Forum. His aggression and hostility are a disservice to the lessons left by our wonderful Phyllis Schlafly. Simply put, Andy does not speak with her voice and is certainly not an echo of her example.

Newly Discovered Email Shows Anti-Phyllis Schlafly Plot Hatched In April 2016
